The Troyer Group is an interdisciplinary team made up of landscape architects, structural engineers, civil engineers, and urban planners. The Mishawaka office, where I was located in Summer 2019, I worked on a range of projects from a nature playscape to marketing materials for the office. My first day at the internship was by far the most fun. Within the first hour, the lead landscape architect had me creating boards for a design charette for a Montessori Playscape design. I followed through with the design throughout the summer all the way to construction details. The school broke ground on the playscape's construction in August 2019.
